I feel relaxed in a room with warm wood tones and a pastel green. Bed was firm and I could sleep well at night. The pillows have a hard side that made leaning on the headboard comfortable, perfect for scrolling on your phone while in bed or reading a book. Wifi signal is strong and I did not have any issues with the speed. There are multiple USB ports that made charging all my devices easy. At the reception they also rent out JP type wallplugs, so convenient. Airco fan is silent and I did not feel bothered by the noise or breeze if I left it on while sleeping. Shampoo and bodywash don't have a strong smell. The water warms up fast and the pressure is strong. I did not mind the walk from the JR Takanawa Gateway station. While the KK metro line A4 exit is one building away making transfer from and to the airport so easy. I found myself always stopping at the 7 eleven as I would pass by it on my way to the room. Thanks to the lovely reception staff who helped me out in English! Hope to see you again in the future as I enjoyed my stay.

Great hotel close to Sengakuji station on the Asakusa line/Keikyu Main line, around 30 mns from Haneda airport. Room was clean with all necessary amenities (you need to pick up any new PJs/bath mat you want to change after the first day at the reception floor). Staff is very polite and helpful, I appreciated their help with my luggage weighting. There's a 7/11 just a few meters away as well as a gym just above it. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Grave of the 47 Ronin, you can purchase some incense sticks to pay your respect. Good to note that while the hotel is very close to Sengakuji station (Exit 4), you will need to get out of Exit 2 if you have heavy luggage to use the elevator then walk to the hotel (very short distance). Exit 4 only has stairs, but this is a great work out. Recommended!

Great location, very close to Sengakuji station (direct train links to both airports) and 10 mins walk from another station which we used much more to visit central Tokyo sights. Free ‘proper’ coffee in the lobby from 6-10am and 3pm-1am. Room tiny, but no smaller than other low-cost hotels we could find, and there was space to have two large rucksacks on the floor. Everything was very clean. Fresh towels left on the door handle every day (they don’t clean daily) and items such as robes available in the lobby. This hotel was significantly cheaper than most others we could find and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. We also used their luggage transfer to the next hotel - very easy and good value (bags arrive the next day, so should be with us tomorrow!) this service seemed well-run.

I loved the fact that the hotel is close enough to my campus as I arrived as a new student at Keio University and had to wait for the longer term residence to become available. The staff at Smile Hotel were all extremely attentive, kind and patient. The amenities at the front desk and in the room were sufficient. Everything functions well in the room too. There were 7-11, Lawson, and Family Mart all right close to the hotel. There was a 24-hour gym right next door too. The Tokyo Tower could be reach by foot within a pleasant 17-20min walk. The Minato ku Info Centre is close by too, where many brochures and maps can be found.

Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable and the location is great. 3 konbini stores - 7/11, Lawson and FamilyMart very nearby and Sengakuji station is right next to the hotel which was super convenient. This hotel is close to Haneda Airport which could be handy, however there's also a direct train here from Narita Airport which was where we flew into. The staff were really kind, the rooms are slightly larger than your average Tokyo hotel room, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Laundry facilities and a microwave also available which was super useful.
